| Air & Water Reactions | Poly(1,2-dihydro-2,2,4-trimethylquinoline) may be sensitive to prolonged exposure to moisture. Insoluble in water. |
| Reactivity Profile | Accelerated stability studies indicate that Poly(1,2-dihydro-2,2,4-trimethylquinoline) is unstable when stored at 140° F for 2 weeks, protected from light. Acetone solutions are stable for 3 weeks in the dark at room temperature. Solutions in acetone stored for 3 hours open to air and light are also stable. Poly(1,2-dihydro-2,2,4-trimethylquinoline) is incompatible with concentrated nitric acid and strong oxidizers. |
