Reactivity Profile 2-Hydroxypropyl methacrylate polymerization: May polymerize when hot or when exposed to ultraviolet light and free-radical catalysts [USCG, 1999].
Health Hazard Inhalation causes coughing and irritation of nose and throat; lung injury may occur. Ingestion causes irritation and burning of mouth and stomach. Contact of vapor with eyes causes irritation. Liquid may cause severe eye burns and irritation of skin.
